PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION N0. 79-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE KENAI ADVISORY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
OF KENAI, ALASKA.
WHEREAS, the Advisory Commission is charged by the Council with
developing a Comprehensive Plan for the City, and
WHEREAS, 'the firm of R. W. Thorpe and Associates is assisting the
City in developing a plan, and
WHEREAS, t'he Commission has focussed attention on the Beaver Creek
Alaska Subdivision area in terms of future use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE KENAI ADVISORY PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA that the area
described as follows be designated for General Commercial uses
in the new plan for the City:
The land within Beaver Creek Alaska Subdivision bounded on
the west by Raven Street, Beaver Loop and Beaver Loop
Extended to the east, Minchumina Way to the north and
Tustumena Street to the south, and also include the Well
House Site and the lot upon which the Beaver House is located.
That this designation be transmitted to R. W. Thorpe for inclusion
in the complete plan.
That the Council be apprised of this planning designation
and concurrance of same is requested.
That this designation be used by the City for guidance in zoning
over the next few months.
PASSED BY THE KENAI ADVISORY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA this 23rd day of May, 1979.
