KENAI (GRANTI G) (DENYING) A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

WHEREAS, the Commission finds:
1) That an application meeting the requirements of Section 14.20.150 has
been submitted and received on: September 30, 1994
2) This request is on land coned . Townsite Historic (TSx)
3) That the applicant has demonstrated with plans and other documents
that they can and will meet the fiollowing specific requirements and
conditions in addition to existing requirements:

4) That a duly advertised public bearing as required by KMC 14.20.280 was
conducted by the Commission on: october 12, 1994
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE PLANNING.AND ZONING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF KENAI THAT THE APPLICANT (HAS) (HAS NOT)
DEMONSTRATED THAT THE PROPOSED Residential. Center MEETS
THE CONDITIONS REQUIRED FOR SAID OPERATION AND THEREFORE THE
COMMISSION (DOES) (DOES NOT) AUTHORIZE THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICIAL
TO ISSUE THE APPROPRIATE PERMIT.

BUILDING OFFICIAL
By allowing this type of occupancy it may change the occupancy
of the building to a Group I 3 occupancy which would require
licensing from the Fire Marshall.
In addition the building code would not allow this type of occupancy
unless the building met other construction requirements which Z
cannot ascertain without an outside building inspection.
