RESOLUTION NO. PZ99-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING 'AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF KENAI RECO~MMEND'ING THAT THE ATTACHED
LANDSCAPINGISITE PLAN REVIEW BE APPROVED SUBJECT TO THE
FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
WHEREAS, the attached LandscapinglSite Plan Review was submitted for:
• Property Address: 1 1 152 Kenai Spur Highway
• Legal Description: Alyeska Sub Part 1, Lot 1
• Parcel Na.: 04320012
WHEREAS, the application was submitted by Harbor Enterprises, Inc. d.b.a.
G&M Chevron and received on May 28, 1999.
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai Planning and Zoning Commission finds this plan
provides for orderly and safe development within the City commensurate
with protecting the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens, and provides
adequate and convenient open spaces, light and air in order to avoid
congestion of commercial and industrial areas; and,
WHEREAS, the plan appears to provide for landscaping and/or the retention
of natural vegetation in conjunction with commercial and industrial
development within the City; and,
WHEREAS, the purpose of landscaping is to visually enhance the City's
appearance and reduce erosion and storm runoff, and the plan appears to
meet this criteria.
NOTE: Commission required landscaping along Att7.a Way, i.e.
plant grass. Dumpster to be enclosed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF KENAI THAT THE LANDSCAPINGISITE
PLAN BE APPROVED AS SUBMITTED.
PASSED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, June 9, 1999.
