RESOLUTION NO. PZ02-64
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, RECOMMENDING TO THE COUNCIL THAT KMC 14.20.220(c))(M) BE
AMENDED TO LIMIT THE USE OF SANDWICH SIGNS FROM MAY 1 TO
SEPTEMBER 15. \
WHEREAS, KMC 14.20.220(c)(1)(M) allows th use of sandwich board signs only in
commercial and industrial zones; and
WHEREAS, use of sandwich board signs from ptember 15 to May 1 is not desirable;
and
WHEREAS, the Kenai sign code oul e amended to only allow sandwich board
signs from May 1 to Sep tuber 15 the Commercial and Industrial Zones (Central
Commercial, General Co mercial, Li t Industrial, and Heavy Industrial).
NOW, THEREFORE, HE PLA ING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA rec mends a C 14.20.220(c))(M) be amended as follows:
14.20.220 gns.
(c)(M) A sandwic oard sign from May 1 until September 15 of not more than
sixteen (l6) s e feet exclusive of other signs allowed.
