HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 2075-20041 City of Kenai Suggested by: Administration ORDINANCE N0.2075-2004 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA DECREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY ~ 16,896 IN THREE SENIOR CITIZEN FUNDS. WHEREAS, at the time the City budget was approved by Council, the grant awards for the Council on Aging Title III fund and the United Way had not been approved. The City budget reflects the amount that was requested in the grant proposals. Since that time, these grant awards have been approved; and, WHEREAS, annual leave accrual will be aggregated in the Kenai Peninsula Borough Senior Citizen Fund; and, WHEREAS, the Council on Aging Title III revised budget is ~ 19,797 less than the original budget, the Choice Waiver revised budget is ~2,2881ess than the original budget, and the Kenai Peninsula Borough Senior Citizens revised budget is X5,189 more than the original budget; and, WHEREAS, the reduced budgets will still provide for the nutrition, transportation and support of the senior community.
