HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 2129-2005Suggested by: Administration CITY OF KENAI ORDINANCE N0.2129-2005 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY X6,555.55 IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB TITLE V DELINQUENCY GRANT. WHEREAS, last fiscal year the City of Kenai received money from the State of Alaska for the Title V Delinquency Grant for the Boys and Girls Club; and, WHEREAS, the money unspent at June 30 lapsed to fund balance; and, WHEREAS, the money is needed to pay the Boys and Girls Club for the fourth quarter grant filing; and, WHEREAS, the money is available in fund balance. NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, that estimated revenues and appropriations be increased as follows: General Fund Increase Estimated Revenues: Appropriation of Fund Balance X0,555.55 Increase Appropriations: Non-Departmental -Grants X6,555.55 PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this Second day of November 2005. This money needs to be re-appropriated in order to pay the final grant payment to the Boys and Girls Club. This year we will encumber the grant amount to prevent this from happening in the future. 1
