Ordinance 2439 -2009 appropriates the additional funds needed as a result of amendment to your
employment contract that was approved at the August 19, 2009 Council Meeting. No cost of
living increase was included in the FY2010 budget for the City Manger Position. An additional
$7,163 is needed for the City Manager position to receive the 4.5% cost of living allowance the
Council approved. With the amendment to the contract, similar ordinances will be avoided as
the contract now indicates the timing and method for determining cost of living increases for the
City Manager.
