One of the desired outcomes of the EECBG Program includes increased energy efficiency, reduced energy consumption, and reduced energy costs through efficiency improvements in the building, transportation and other appropriate sectors. The Local Government Formula Allocation for the City of Kenai was $50,000, and the City received this Award for the purpose of a Lighting System Replacement Project at the City's Multi- Purpose Facility. The Project Period for this award is thirty -six months from the date of award, which would require a project completion date of September 14, 2012. 1992
