KENAI. ALASKA
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, INCREASING
ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY S18,284.00 FOR CITY
MANAGER, CITY CLERK, AND CITY ATTORNEY PAY AND BENEFIT INCREASES IN
EXCESS OF ORIGINALLY BUDGETED AMOUNTS.
WHEREAS, upon completion of each employees' annual evaluation, the City Council
has authorized a FY2011, 1.1% COLA (Cost of Living Allowance) and a 5,0% merit, pay
increase for the City Manager, City Clerk, and City Attorney; and,
WHEREAS, the COLA increase shall be retroactively applied to July 1, 2010 for each;
and,
WHEREAS, the merit increases for the City Manager and City Clerk shall be
retroactively applied to July 1, 2010 and the effective date for the City Attorney's merit
increase will be August 24, 2010, the one -year anniversary of her employment; and,
WHEREAS, the effect of the increase for wages and benefits will be $18,284.00 more
than originally budgeted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that estimated revenues and appropriations be increased as follows:
