RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -54
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING
THE BID TO TRI CITY'S CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR CONCRETE REPAIRS 2009 FOR
THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $46,936.00.
WHEREAS, the following bids were received on August 11, 2009:
BIDDER TOTAL
JD Contractor's $65,969.00
Denny's Construction $49,046.00
Tri City's Construction $46,936.00
and,
WHEREAS, Tri City's Construction, Inc. bid meets the bid specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the recommendation from the City Administration is to award the bid to
Tri City's Construction, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has determined that Tri City's
Construction, Inc. bid is a responsible bid and award to this bidder would be in the
best interest of the City; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the bid for Concrete Repairs 2009 be awarded to Tri City's
Construction, Inc. for the total amount of 546,936.00.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 19th day of
August, 2009.
