RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -40

A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING
THE BID TO PENINSULA PUMPING, INC. FOR PORTABLE RESTROOMS RENTAL AND
SOUTH BEACH DUMPSTERS 2010 FOR THE TOTAL AMOUNT UP TO S43,690.00.
WHEREAS, the following bids were received on July 6th, 2010:
BIDDER
PENINSULA PUMPING, INC.
BASIC BID TOTAL
43,690.00
and,
WHEREAS, Peninsula Pumping, Inc. bid meets the bid specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the recommendation from the City Administration is to award the bid to
Peninsula Pumping, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has determined that Peninsula Pumping,
Inc. bid is a responsible bid and award to this bidder would be in the best interest of
the City; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, the bid for Portable Restrooms Rental and South Beach Durnpsters 2010 be
awarded to Peninsula Pumping, Inc. for the total amount up to $46,690.00.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this seventh day of
July, 2010.

SUBJECT: PORTABLE RESTROOMS RENTAL AND SOUTH BEACH
DUMPSTERS 2010; RESOLUTION 2010 -40
The subject bid is for portable restroom rentals on the north and south beach
and dumpster services on the south beach during the 2010 dip net season.
Sealed bids will be opened at City Hall at 10AM on Tuesday, July 6th for these
services. The results of this bid opening will be provided to City Council
members in `lay -down' documents for consideration at the scheduled City
Council meeting on July 7th.
