MEMO:
TO: City Council
FROM: Rick Koch
DATE: June 12, 2008
SUBJECT: Resolution Number 2008-37
The Administration recommends approval of the above referenced resolution setting a
public hearing.
The administration has previously prepared a construction cost estimate and an estimate
of assessments based on ,four different possible assessment methodologies.
Administration has not yet updated the construction cost estimate, nor have we
determined a recommended assessment methodology. There is a mix of both land use and
property size that makes the selection of an assessment methodology challenging.
I would expect that the updated cost estimate will increase by 10°/0-25°/0, as this project,
if adopted by the Council would be a 2009 construction season project.
For your information I have attached information that was developed n2 2007 for this
proposed LID.
