RESOLUTION NO. 2008-46
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO YUKON EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR AN ELGIN CROSSWIND J SWEEPER
FOR THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $194,616 FOB KENAI.
WHEREAS, KMC 7.15.050 (6) allows the City to purchase equipment under a contract
of another governmental agency; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Everett, Washington, awarded a competitive bid to Yukon
Equipment, Inc. for equipment that meets our specifications; and,
WHEREAS, Yukon Equipment, Inc.'s price under the City of Everett contract is
significantly less than our estimated cost and award to this bidder is in the best
interest of the City; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated in the Equipment Replacement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that a contract for a Elgin Crosswind J Sweeper be awarded to Yukon
Equipment, Inc. for the total amount of $194,616 FOB Kenai.

2008.
