RESOLUTYON NO. 2007-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING
THE BID TO BIG G ELECTRIC & ENGINEEERING, INC. FOR KENAI SENIOR CENTER
LIGHT REPLACEMENT 2007 FOR THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ~w36,965.31
WHEREAS, the following bids were received on January 31, 2007:
BIDDER TOTAL
Big G Electric 8s Engineering, Inc. $36,965.31
Kachemak Electric Co., Inc. $40,760.00
DeWayne Electric $65,160.00
WHEREAS, Big G Electric & Engineering, Inc.'s bid. meets the bid specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the recommendation from the City Administration is to award the bid to
Big G Electric 8v Engineering, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has determined that Big G Electric &
Engineering, Inc.'s bid is a responsible bid and award to this bidder would be in the
best interest of the City; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the bid for Kenai Senior Center Light Replacement 2007 be awarded to
Big G Electric 8v Engineering, Inc. for the total amount of $36,965.31.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this seventh day of
February 2007.
