CITY OF KENAI
RESOLUTION 2007-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, EXTENDING
THE CONTRACT WITH WINCE-CORTHELL-BRYSON FOR
ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR
KENAI MUNICIPAL AIRPORT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 2007-57 on August 21, 2002, awarded a contract to Wince-
Corthell-Bryson to provide professional architectural, airport planning, engineering and
construction management services for various airport projects; and,
WHEREAS, the term of this contract was for three years from the date of award with
an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods upon mutual consent of
Wince-Corthell-Bryson and the City of Kenai; and,
WHEREAS, the three-year contract plus two additional one-year periods expired on
August 21, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, City Administration recommends extending this contract until
December 31, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, each individual project will be negotiated and the fee schedule will be
adjusted for each project; and,
WHEREAS, extension of this contract is contingent upon FAA approval and funding;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has determined that an extending the
contract to Wince-Corthell-Bryson would be in the best interest of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the contract with Wince-Corthell-Bryson for Architectural/Engineering 8v
Construction Management Services for the Kenai Municipal Airport Capital
Improvement Projects be extended to December 31, 2007.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA this 19th day of
