SUBJECT: Marathon Donation Check
This MEMO is in reference to the following Resolution No. 2012 -47
For many years, UNOCAL /Agrium sponsored an Area Wide Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon. It has been
held on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at the Kenai Senior Center. While the plant /camp kitchen was
in operation, the food was brought and served at our facility.
After the Agrium closure, Marathon Oil took over sponsoring the event. As they do not have kitchen
facilities, they now give our Center the funds to purchase the food and supplies needed for the event.
The $5,000 donation check is for this year's Area Wide Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon, to be held on
Tuesday, November 20.
