CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE NO. 2577 -2011
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, INCREASING
ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $2,226 IN THE AIRPORT FUND
AND BY $89,053 IN THE AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT CAPITAL PROJECT FUND FOR
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the FAA has approved funding for additional work to be included in the
Apron Improvement Project; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the additional work is
89,053; and,
WHEREAS, the FAA will fund 95 %, the State of Alaska will fund 2.5% and the Airport
Fund will provide 2.5 %.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that estimated revenues and appropriations be increased as follows:

Subject: Ordinance No. 2577 -2011
The above ordinance is necessary to cover additional professional services performed
by the Airport consultants, Wince - Corthell- Bryson, on the Apron Rehabilitation Project
and costs associated with final change orders and the close out process.
The FAA allows the City to amend grants upwards of up to 15% for work items identified
as being directly or incidentally related to its projects.
The FAA has reviewed the revised apron engineering budget and construction costs
and concurs with the Change Order No. Nine.

Kenai Apron Final Change Orders
Mary and Kevin asked me to forward the Final Balancing Change Order for the Construction Contract as well as my memo requesting
a final increase to the Engineering PO to complete the Close Out for review and approval
I have also attached our summary of costs for the two grants
