GRANTING A REQUEST TO MODIFY THE DEVELOP ENT PLANS FOR CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT PZ11 -36 TO:

WHEREAS, the Commission
1. That a Conditional Use ermi or Dena'ina Wellness Center Medical Clinic was reviewed and
approved on October 12, 1 (P 1 -36).
2. That development plan appro it y PZl 1 -36 included a conceptual plan showing sidewalks along
Overland Avenue and Mission venue.
3. That the "Site Develop ent P " as approved by PZl 1 -36 provided a graphic identifying "on -site
pedest an circul tion wh eluded the sidewalk along Overland Avenue.
4. The plication pprov by PZ11 -36, described the site as, "The site for the Wellness Center will
incl e a trails st to ow ease of access for pedestrians while also creating paths through old
tow ."

A request has bee eceived from Klauder & Company on behalf of the Kenaitze Indian Tribe to
modify the site pan for the development. The modification is to remove the sidewalks along Overland
Avenue and Mi sion Avenue.
Kenai Munici al Code 14.20.150 (h)(b) regulates modifications to development plans.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THE PLANNING AND ZONING C MMISSION OF THE
CITY OF KENAI GRANTS THE REQUEST TO THE KENAITZE INDIAN MIBE TO MODIFY THE
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE DENA'INA WELLNESS CLINIC H REMOVES THE
SIDEWALKS ALONG OVERLAND AVENUE AND MISSION AVENU .
