Memo
To: Terry Eubank — Acting City Manager
From: Mary Bondurant — Airport Mana
Date: April 8, 2014
Subject: Airport Security Camera Project —Fund Appropriation
The replacement of the security camera system at the airport is included in the current FAA
Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and programmed for FY 2014.
However due to recent deadlines published in the Federal Register on February 26, 2014, it is
not possible to design, advertise, bid, and submit a grant offer to the FAA by July 11, 2014.
The FAA has confirmed that the funds programmed for this project can be rolled over,
protected, and utilized at the next grant offer opportunity.
With Council's approval to appropriate funds, the City can move forward to develop the RFP
documents to design this very important project.
